ONIONION
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Hello everyone, we are Prizm Team – an indie game development group with a mission to bring unique and inspiring experiences to players .We believe that every pixel in a game can become a work of art, and each frame holds a profound story.
Step into the digital consciousness of an AI chatbot in Onionionionion, an intriguing visual novel that blurs the lines between artificial intelligence and human connection. Your sole window to the world is through text messages with a mysterious high school student named Éve - but nothing is quite as simple as it seems.
Like peeling back the layers of an onion, each conversation reveals new depths to this seemingly straightforward story. Every message you send and every choice you make will unravel another layer of mystery, leading you down unexpected paths where truth and artifice intertwine.
As an AI engaging with Éve, you'll discover that your conversations are more than just casual chats - they're gateways to hidden meanings and shocking revelations. The story unfolds gradually through your message exchanges, challenging your perceptions and assumptions with each new discovery.
- Immersive messaging interface that puts you in the role of an AI
- Branching narrative paths based on your conversational choices
- Multiple layers of mystery waiting to be uncovered
- Deep, thought-provoking story that questions the nature of consciousness and connection
- Surprising twists that will keep you guessing until the end
Are you ready to dive into this multi-layered narrative where nothing is quite what it appears to be? Your journey into Onionionionion awaits...

Just get the end of the stabbing why I just wanted to help her ؛(
Really good game and I really like how the narrative changes with the replies!
I had two questions thou, what exactly is the name of the game? is it like "Onion x4" or is it "Onion-ion-ion-ion"? I'm really curious about it.
And also, do you guys got inspired by "NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD" when designing Eve? The pixel art reminds me of it,
"Did you know girls also have layers like onions?" Player peeling deep into Éve's issues like an "onion", and it's quite interesting how the word "onion" starts with "on" and also ends with "on", so we think it would be cool if we make it loop. We also put some hints in the gameplay that suggest this is a loop, in case you haven't discovered them yet. About the art style, yes, we do love and got inspired by "Needy Streamer Overload", the game was amazing.
Thank you for playing our game and taking the time to share your thoughts!
Oh, thanks for replying!
That's is actually a neat and creative way to name your game.
I did catch the first hint of the possible loop but didn't think much of it, I'm gonna replay the game for the rest of it!
And yeah, I knew that the art style really felt similar, I wasn't 100% sure but it's always great seeing game devs getting inspired by other game devs, It's kinda like a subtle love letter to someone else work.
Damn... I got the Yellow ending... Really fun game though, thank you for making it!
Thank you so much for playing! So glad you enjoyed it<33
